The Expert Mode dashboards provide access to the API-Connect Analytics Offload data through the OpenSearch Dashboards application.

• Expert Mode dashboards should be used with caution:

  • Permissions are not enforced (e.g.: Custom Roles defined in DPOD). Everyone with access to Expert Mode dashboards will have access to all the data stored in DPOD, including internal data that should not be visible to standard users.

  • Expert Mode dashboards queries are not optimized the way DPOD queries are. Performing an unoptimized query might cause performance and memory issues.

• Currently, access to Expert Mode dashboards is only allowed to Administrators of DPOD.

• Changes in the internal structure of DPOD data may affect custom dashboards and queries created by users in the Expert Mode dashboards.
