Agents IP

The IP address configured for the Gateway's Log Targets Remote Host address, which is used to send Syslog records to DPOD.
When both Agents IP and Agents DNS exists, the Gateway's Log Targets Remote Host address will be configured with the Agents DNS.

Agents DNS

The host name (DNS name) configured for the Gateway's Log Targets Remote Host address, which is used to send Syslog records to DPOD.
This is useful when the Gateways and DPOD agents are on different networks (e.g. behind NAT), and DPOD agents IP address is unreachable from the Gateways. This host name can be configured in the DNS server of the Gateways, or simply as a host alias entry in the Gateways.
