  1. Ensure you have an IP address for DPOD appliance (including DNS, Default GW, subnet mask and all other network configuration).
    Throughout this guide, this IP address will be referred to as <DPOD appliance IP address>
  2. Ensure you have an NTP server available and obtain its IP address.
  3. Prepare a list of all your monitored devices with their IP addresses (normally their managment IP addresses) and SOMA ports. These are required for the actions in Prepare your Monitored Devices.
  4. Ensure ports are open in the firewall during and after the installation in accordance with the requirements set in Firewall Requirements.
