The Security section under [Manage→Security] provides access to the management screens for the Users, Groups and Role-Based managed security mechanism provided by DPOD.

Local User Registry (Internal Database Registry)

When DPOD is not configured to use LDAP registry and the Local User Registry is disabled in System Parameters, DPOD will not allow to add or edit any users, roles or groups, and the following error message will be displayed:

You can turn the Local User Registry on or off from the System Parameters page.
