Supported OS Locale

The only supported operating system locale for DPOD is en_US.UTF-8.

For appliance installation, this locale is configured automatically.

Non-Appliance installation should be configured to the supported locale using the following steps:

  1. To identify the current locale, login to the DPOD server using SSH and run the following command:

    localectl status

    The command output should be:

    System Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 VC Keymap: us X11 Layout: us

  2. If the server is configured with a different locale, set the new locale using the following command:

    localectl set-locale LANG=en_US.UTF-8

  3. Verify the locale again using the command in step 1 above.

  4. Restart the server:
