Product Activation

The Product Activation page displays the current activation details, and allows to request an activation key, or update the installation with a provided activation key.
The details displayed in the screen are:
Field | Description |

Product Owner | In case the activation key has been created specifically for you (based on a request key), this will include the product owner's name specified in the request, which is normally the name of your organization. |
Email Address | In case the activation key has been created specifically for you (based on a request key), this will include the email address specified in the request, which should be the same email address that the activation key was sent to. |
Expiry Date | In case the activation key has an expiry date, this will indicate the date this activation key will expire. This depends on your purchase agreement. |
Enablement | The type of enablement, based on the installation type and provided activation key. The type can be |
Number of Gateways | In case the activation key has a limit of monitored gateways, this will indicate the maximum number of gateways that can be monitored in this installation. This depends on your purchase agreement. |
Number of Cloud Agents | In case the activation key has a limit of monitored cloud agents, this will indicate the maximum number of cloud agents that can be monitored in this installation. This depends on your purchase agreement. |
Number of Gateways per Cloud Agent | This will indicate the maximum number of monitored gateways per cloud agent. |
Generate Request Key
Click the Generate Request Key button to generate a custom activation key request.
You will need to provide the details above and generate a request key, which you can send by email to the email address specified in that page.
Update Activation Key
Click the Update Activation Key button to upload an activation key file:
The activation key is included in the download assembly for the program you purchased. In Passport Advantage, make sure to select version “1.0.x” (and not the specific DPOD version).
For the full version, please apply the activation key found in eAssembly "IBM DataPower Operations Dashboard V1.0.x Full Version Activation eAssembly" (G071VEN/M088JEN).
For the API calls version, please apply the activation key found in eAssembly "IBM DataPower Operations Dashboard V1.0.x API Calls Version Activation eAssembly" (G071TEN/M088HEN).The activation key file is a password-protected zip file. Do not try to unzip the activation key zip file, just upload it as is to DPOD.
An activation key is not required for the free Developer Edition and the Docker Container for Developer Edition, which include a trial period.
You may also upload an activation key file that was emailed to you, following a request key that you previously sent.
