DPOD's Licensing is based on the number of monitored devices connected to DPOD.

A Monitored device is any IBM DataPower Gateway whose version and edition is supported by DPOD.

The following are examples of monitored devices:

One IBM DataPower Gateway Virtual Edition = One monitored device.
One IBM DataPower Gateway Virtual Non Production Edition = One monitored device.
One IBM DataPower Gateway Appliance = One monitored device.
