Prerequisetes

  1. Manager
    1. DPOD version 1.0.8.6 or above.
    2. Load configuration architecture: Medium or above (see: Hardware and Software Requirements)
  2. Member
    1. DPOD version 1.0.8.6 or above.
    2. numactl package installed.
    3. The following mount points available: /data2,/data22,/data3,/data33,/data4,/data44 (see: Setup a Cell Environment)
    4. Load configuration architecture: High or above (see: Hardware and Software Requirements)

Federation Process

  1. Run the federation scripts as described in Setup a Cell Environment, i.e.: 

  2. Login to the member server using ssh and stop all DPOD services:

  3. Remove "numa" commands:

  4. Update Store nodes heap sizes: 

  5. restart all DPOD services:

  6. Login to the manager server using ssh and restart all DPOD services:
