The user preferences can be accessed by clicking the user name on the Banner, and selecting Preferences from the drop-down list.

Click on the Edit button to configure DPOD’s views defaultsyour personal preferences in DPOD.


The following user-editable preferences are available:

ThemeDPOD provides two several User Interface themes.
 You may choose a light or dark theme for DPOD’s display .
IDG Gateway Home PageLets you configure the page DPOD loads when you log in to the system in IDGGateway view mode or when switching to IDG view mode
and Gateway view, or when an auto-navigate Home Interval is used.
APIC API-C Home PageLets you configure the page DPOD loads when you log in to the system in APIC view mode or API-C view or when switching to APIC view mode
and API-C view, or when an auto-navigate Home Interval is used.
Auto-reload Interval

When used, DPOD will automatically reload its display according to the interval selected:

  • Every 10 Seconds
  • Every 30 Seconds
  • Every 1 Minute
  • Every 5 Minutes
  • Or manually (Never auto-reload)

The auto-reload interval selection can also be accessed directly from the banner,
by clicking the auto-reload icon.

Auto-navigate Home Interval

Number The number of seconds of inactivity after which DPOD will reload the home page.
If set, DPOD will navigate the user automatically navigate back to the defined home page after a period of inactivity.

An example of where this is useful would be for NOC display terminals.

Internal Alerts Message Interval

This option is only displayed for administrators.How , and defines how often internal health notifications will be are displayed.

The default value is every 1 minute, you can but it is also possible to turn the notification off (not recommended)

Store Status Message Interval

Default Filters

This option is only displayed for administrators.

How often the Store status message should be displayed.
The store status message shows the date of the earliest syslog document stored in DPOD.
The default value is every 8 hours, you can turn the notification off.

Default Device FilterYou may enter device name(s) here to automatically set a default Device Filter value for all views. 
Default Domain FilterYou may enter domain name(s) here to automatically set a default Domain Filter value for all views.
Default Service FilterYou may enter service name(s) here to automatically set a default Service Filter value for all views

defines default filters values for all views, which are applied upon login or when resetting the filters.

The available filters are time, device name(s), domain name(s) and service name(s).

Device-Domain-Service FiltersThis option enables dependency between device, domain and service filters.
