You will need to perform Perform the following tasks in order to activate your product

  1. Log in to the UI Web Console (default username: DPODAdmin admin, default password: adminuser adminuser)
  2. Read and accept the EULA (End User License Agreement)  todo: we had a eula at the software deployment stage. why again?

  3. Follow the instructions displayed on the screen to activate license. This is required in order for you to be able to complete logging in to the UI consoletodo: didn't we just log in in step 1?

  5. Once logged in, Check system services statustodo: this was just done in the installation verification. why again?

  2. To start monitoring and viewing transnational data you MUST Read the following sections for information on how to perform the required post installation setup commands such as adding a monitored DataPower Gateway .
  3. Please complete LDAP configuration steps. The built-in local repository of users, groups and roles is only for POCs and demo usage. To better comply with more strict security requirements it is advised to leave the Local User Registry Management disabled in system parameters (it is disabled by default). When disabled, DPOD will not allow to add or edit any users, roles or groups, and will display a relevant error message.
