Install DPOD Light Edition

The Developer (light) Edition's aim is aim to assist the Technical presale, . It is geared towards the DataPower developer that want to assist wants to run DPOD on their Development Workstation and limited functional , in the context of limited functionality Proof Of Concept. This installation will not allow multi-node configuration and is not planned to support any performance of more than 2-3 TPS.

Limited Configuration

Limited configuration is available in The Developer Edition which allows only limited configuration. This means only 1 a single type of architecture configuration file that will provide provides a single DPOD node architecture and 1-2 agents only for WS-M and syslogs. You will need to choose it in the Software Deployment Chapter in section in the product documentation.

 

One Extra installation step

When perform all following the steps listed in the Software Deployment Chapter in section of the product documentation, you are required to perform this an additional step :9. Configure system to use Minimize Resource Consumption.(step #9 in the list)
