The developer edition is free, under a restricted license, and may be used for demonstration, development and evaluation only.

A single deployment profile only.
Only one Syslog agent and one WS-M agent.
The functionality is limited:
Limited to 10 monitored devicesgateways.
Limited to 1 monitored cloud agent.
Limited to 10 monitored gateways per cloud agent.
Limited to 90 days.
After 90 days, you will be redirected to the Product Activation page where an activation request key can be generated.
You may send the activation request key to your IBM representative to request an extension of the license.Limited amount of data collected.
The Developer Edition does not support upgrading and it does not get any fix packs.
To upgrade to a newer version, a full re-installation of the product is required.
